dietary supplements

Dietary supplements (often abbreviated as NEM ) are food products that are intended to supplement the human metabolism with certain nutrients such as vitamins or minerals . They contain these in a concentrated and dosed form, which is why they are usually offered in non-food forms such as tablets, drinking ampoules or capsules. Nevertheless, they are clearly different from pharmaceuticals in legal terms and in their purpose . They must not have any adverse health effects or heal or alleviate diseases.
